Google Cloud has announced the deprecation of Cloud SQL for SQL Server 2017. Beginning April 12, 2027, users will be unable to create new instances of this version. Databricks has introduced the `ai_transcribe()` SQL function, enabling users to transcribe audio files directly into text within their data workflows.
