AlloyDB for PostgreSQL Improves ScaNN Index Memory Handling
AlloyDB for PostgreSQL now provides more accurate memory usage estimation and prevents out-of-memory errors when building ScaNN four-level tree indexes. This enhancement significantly improves the stability of index creation, especially under constrained conditions. It specifically benefits developers and data scientists working with ScaNN indexes. This improved capability is currently available in Preview.

AlloyDB now provides more accurate memory usage estimation, and it prevents out-of-memory (OOM) errors when you build a ScaNN four-level tree index . This feature is in Preview .
