Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory adds cross-account access

aiawsengineer
feature

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports cross-account access, enabling the creation of multi-account architectures for memory resources and agents. This feature allows permission grants between accounts using resource-based policies and configuration of delivery destinations in separate accounts. It is available in all supported AWS Regions, simplifying complex, distributed AI agent deployments.

  • Enable cross-account access for AgentCore Memory
  • Reference full memory ARN for cross-account operations
  • Cross-account delivery to S3, SNS, and Kinesis Data Streams
  • Availability and getting started
Features (1)
  • Enable cross-account access for AgentCore Memory

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports cross-account access, allowing memory resources and consuming agents to span multiple AWS accounts. This is achieved through resource-based policies and the ability to configure delivery destinations in separate accounts.

Enhancements (2)
  • Reference full memory ARN for cross-account operations

Once configured, principals in a consuming account can reference the full memory ARN to create events, write and retrieve memory records, and perform semantic searches across accounts.

  • Cross-account delivery to S3, SNS, and Kinesis Data Streams

Memory resources can now deliver payloads and stream events to S3 buckets, SNS topics, and Kinesis Data Streams located in different AWS accounts.

Notes (1)
  • Availability and getting started

Cross-account access for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory is available in all AWS Regions where AgentCore Memory is supported. Refer to the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Developer Guide for configuration details.
