Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory Gains Flexible Namespace Variables
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now allows developers to define flexible namespace variables for scoping long-term memories. This new capability enables organization, isolation, and access control for memories along application-specific dimensions like tenant or environment. It is particularly useful for multi-tenant and complex-hierarchy applications, eliminating the need for duplicate strategies or overloading built-in variables. This feature is generally available today in all AWS Regions where AgentCore Memory is offered, with no additional cost.

- Flexible Namespace Variables for AgentCore Memory
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory now supports flexible namespace variables, allowing developers to scope long-term memories along custom application-specific dimensions such as organization, tenant, team, or environment. This provides fine-grained control over how memories are organized, isolated, and accessed, especially beneficial for multi-tenant and complex-hierarchy applications. Developers can define up to five keys per memory resource and supply values at runtime via the CreateEvent API, which are then substituted into namespace templates.
