Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base, a fully managed RAG service, is now generally available.     The fully managed retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) service, Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Base, is now generally available. It enables the creation of AI agents grounded in enterprise data without the need to manage vector databases or data pipelines.

    The service handles data ingestion, storage optimization, and advanced retrieval, including hybrid search, document ranking, and agentic retrieval. It includes six native data source connectors for S3, SharePoint, Confluence, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Web Crawler, with automatic data syncing.

  • Native integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

    Managed Knowledge Base integrates with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, allowing for easy connection to agents with auto-generated permissions and built-in observability. This facilitates building applications like employee assistants and automated customer support.
