Amazon Connect Global Resiliency Adds Cross-Region Contact Routing
Amazon Connect Global Resiliency now enables cross-region routing of customer contacts to agents across two active AWS regions. This enhancement ensures both linked regions carry live traffic, continuously exercising configurations and integrations, which eliminates idle standbys and boosts confidence in workload absorption during disruptions. The feature allows managers to view unified analytics and search contacts across both regions, maintaining full control over traffic distribution. Access to this global routing capability, available in specific AWS regional pairings, requires contacting an AWS account representative.
