- Increase security profiles per user to seven
Amazon Connect now supports assigning up to seven security profiles per user, up from the previous limit of two. This allows agents who serve multiple lines of business to have distinct, scoped permission sets for each, enforced via tag-based or hierarchy-based access controls. The increased limit provides greater flexibility to align security models with organizational structures.
Notes (2) ›
- Enhanced flexibility for granular access control
The update enables organizations to more precisely match their security models to their organizational structure, ensuring least privilege access without needing a single, overly broad profile. This is particularly useful for companies with multiple distinct business divisions or lines of operation.
