Amazon QuickSight adds deny by default for custom permissions
Amazon QuickSight's custom permissions now feature a "deny by default" governance setting for new AI capabilities. This change allows administrators to proactively restrict access to new AI features at launch, preventing them from being automatically available to all users, a shift from the previous reactive management approach. Administrators can configure this setting per profile, role, or account via the QuickSight console or AWS CLI, ensuring explicit control over which capabilities are enabled. The feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon QuickSight is supported.
