Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio Adds Data Profiling and Anomaly Detection
Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now integrates AWS Glue Data Quality to provide data profiling and anomaly detection capabilities. This enables data stewards, engineers, and analysts to generate statistical profiles, monitor data completeness, and identify drifts from historical patterns without predefined thresholds. The features support both data at rest in catalog tables, accessible via a dedicated profile tab, and data in transit within Visual ETL jobs. This functionality is generally available in all AWS regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is offered.
