Anthropic Introduces Claude Tag for Collaborative AI in Slack

System administrators can tightly control Claude Tag's access to sensitive data and task-specific tools, creating distinct Claude identities scoped to specific channels. This ensures that data and capabilities from one channel, such as sales, are not accessible to another, like engineering. Administrators can also set token spend limits and view logs of Claude's activities.

Claude Tag functions as a shared AI instance within a channel, allowing multiple users to collaborate with it and see its progress. Tasks can be delegated asynchronously, with Claude able to schedule its own future actions.
