Anthropic Maintains Claude Sonnet 5 Introductory Pricing

Anthropic has decided to keep the introductory pricing for Claude Sonnet 5 as its standard rate, canceling the previously planned price increase. This means users will continue to pay $2 per million tokens for input and $10 per million tokens for output. The scheduled price hike to $3/$15 per MTok on September 1, 2026, has been rescinded.
