App Engine flexible environment Go to Enforce TLS 1.2+ by September 2026
Google App Engine flexible environment for Go applications will automatically opt into TLS version 1.2 and later starting August 2026. This change enhances security by moving away from older, less secure TLS protocols. Developers can opt out temporarily until the end of August 2026. However, from September 2026, App Engine may permanently block insecure traffic using TLS 1.1 or earlier versions.
