securitygcpengineer
feature

Google Cloud's App Engine flexible environment for Python applications will mandate TLS version 1.2 or later starting in August 2026 to enhance security. Users can opt out of this enforcement until the end of August 2026. However, from September 2026, the platform may permanently block traffic using TLS 1.1 and earlier, requiring applications to upgrade their TLS support. This change affects all Python applications running on the flexible environment.
