AWS Config adds support for 8 new resource types
AWS Config now includes support for eight additional resource types across services like API Gateway, EC2, and S3 Vectors. This enhancement offers broader coverage for discovering, auditing, and remediating resources within AWS environments. Automatic tracking begins for users who have enabled recording for all resource types, with the new types also available in Config rules and aggregators.

AWS Config now supports 8 new resource types across Amazon API Gateway, Amazon EC2, and Amazon S3 Vectors, enhancing visibility and audit capabilities. These types are automatically tracked if all resource types recording is enabled, and are available in Config rules and aggregators.
