feature

AWS Deadline Cloud now includes cost tracking for Amazon EBS persistent volumes within its Usage Explorer, complementing existing compute and license cost visibility. This enhancement allows teams running compute-intensive workloads to monitor storage spend more effectively. Costs are automatically tracked from volume creation to deletion and attributed to the owning fleet, helping customers identify and manage idle resources. This feature is available in all AWS Deadline Cloud regions at no additional charge.

  • Track EBS Persistent Volume Costs in Deadline Cloud

AWS Deadline Cloud's Usage Explorer now provides visibility into costs associated with Amazon EBS persistent volumes. These costs are automatically tracked from creation until deletion, independent of jobs or sessions, and are attributed to the volume's owning fleet. This allows customers to aggregate spend, identify idle volumes, and make informed decisions about resource management.
