AWS Direct Connect adds 100 Gbps in Lima, Peru

AWS has expanded its Direct Connect service with 100 Gbps connections at a new location in Lima, Peru. This expansion offers customers dedicated, private network access to AWS Regions, improving network consistency over the public internet. This is the first Direct Connect location in Peru offering 100 Gbps with MACsec encryption. Customers can now leverage these enhanced connections for greater performance and security.

    AWS Direct Connect now offers 100 Gbps dedicated connections at the Cirion data center in Lima, Peru. This enables private network access to all public AWS Regions (except China), GovCloud Regions, and Local Zones. It is the first Direct Connect location in Peru to provide 100 Gbps connections with MACsec encryption.
