AWS Elemental MediaConnect Router Adds Configurable Latency Modes
AWS Elemental MediaConnect Router now allows users to configure internal connection latency between inputs and outputs. It introduces 'balanced' and 'low-latency' modes to optimize recovery times for general and latency-sensitive workflows. Users can configure these settings per router output via API, console, or CLI. A new CloudWatch metric, RouteFabricRecoveryLatency, offers visibility into these configurations across all available regions.
