Features (4)
  • AWS Security Hub adds Network Scanning and Azure support

AWS Security Hub now includes Network Scanning to identify internet-reachable resources and extends unified security management to Microsoft Azure resources. These enhancements help monitor and manage security posture across both AWS and Azure environments.

  • Amazon SageMaker Studio integrates with Hugging Face for one-click deployment

Users can now deploy and customize models from Hugging Face directly within Amazon SageMaker Studio with a single click. This integration simplifies the workflow for using pre-trained models and offers enhanced GPU instance access for verified customers.

  • Amazon Aurora DSQL Change Data Capture (CDC) is now generally available

Aurora DSQL CDC now streams insert, update, and delete operations as change events to Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, enabling data synchronization across microservices and integration with services like S3 and Redshift with no impact on database performance.

  • Loom for AWS simplifies secure AI agent development and deployment

Loom is an open-source platform for building and deploying AI agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime. It offers a unified UI, API, and lifecycle management, enforcing security policies and resource tagging for enterprise-level agent development.

Enhancements (1)
  • EKS Auto Mode and ECS Managed Instances reduce GPU management costs

Starting July 1, 2026, Amazon EKS Auto Mode and Amazon ECS Managed Instances will reduce management fees for accelerated instance types, with G-series fees down 35% and P-series and AWS Trainium fees down 60%. These reductions apply automatically to existing clusters.

Notes (1)
  • AWS Builder Center Celebrates First Anniversary

The AWS Builder Center, launched on July 9, 2025, has expanded significantly over its first year. It now includes sandbox environments, workshops, Spaces, and a Builders’ Library, featuring over 6,448 articles from 5,548 authors and serving over 10.4 million page views.
