Azure Cache for Redis to Retire September 2028

Azure Cache for Redis (Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers) is scheduled for retirement on September 30, 2028. Customers will be unable to create new instances starting October 1, 2026. The service strongly recommends migrating workloads to Azure Managed Redis before the retirement date, as instances not migrated by then will be shut down.

Azure Cache for Redis, including Basic, Standard, and Premium tiers, will be retired on September 30, 2028. New instance creation will be blocked for existing customers starting October 1, 2026.

Users are advised to migrate their workloads to Azure Managed Redis before September 30, 2028. Instances not migrated by this date will be shut down.
