Azure Databricks Standard tier to retire by October 2026

Azure Databricks is announcing the retirement of its Standard tier. After April 1st, 2026, new Standard tier workspaces cannot be created. All existing Standard tier workspaces will be automatically upgraded to the Premium tier by October 1st, 2026, to ensure customers benefit from enhanced features and security.

The Azure Databricks Standard tier will be retired, with no new workspace creation supported after April 1st, 2026. All remaining Standard tier workspaces will be automatically upgraded to Premium tier by October 1st, 2026.
