feature announcement

Azure Foundry Agent Service introduces Foundry Routines, a native trigger primitive for automating the execution of published agents. This new capability allows users to set up recurring schedules, one-shot delayed timers, and event-based triggers directly within the governed Foundry workspace. By integrating triggers, execution, and observability, it eliminates the need for external services like Logic Apps or Azure Functions for agent automation. Foundry Routines are currently available in public preview for evaluation and are not covered by production SLAs.
