Azure Network Security Group flow logs to be retired Sept 2027
Network security group (NSG) flow logs in Azure Network Watcher will be retired on September 30th, 2027. Creation of new NSG flow logs will stop on June 30th, 2025. Users are advised to migrate to virtual network flow logs to avoid service disruptions and leverage enhanced capabilities. Action is required to migrate before the final retirement date.

Network security group (NSG) flow logs in Azure Network Watcher are scheduled for retirement on September 30th, 2027. New NSG flow log creation will cease on June 30th, 2025.

- Recommendation to migrate to virtual network flow logs
Users are strongly recommended to migrate to virtual network flow logs, which offer improved capabilities and overcome limitations of the retiring NSG flow logs. This migration must be completed by September 30th, 2027, to prevent service disruptions.
