Azure Red Hat OpenShift with Hosted Control Planes Now in Public Preview
Microsoft has announced the public preview of Azure Red Hat OpenShift with hosted control planes, a new deployment option that fully manages the OpenShift control plane separate from customer worker nodes. This service aims to accelerate application modernization and development by offloading infrastructure management to Microsoft and Red Hat SREs, allowing teams to focus on application building. It offers simplified operations, faster cluster provisioning, and enhanced security through managed identities and default etcd encryption. The preview is currently available in selected Azure regions and can be accessed via the Azure CLI, REST API, or Bicep.
