BigQuery Data Transfer Service and Data Agent Kit extension now in Preview
BigQuery's Data Transfer Service now supports transferring metadata from PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server to Knowledge Catalog, enhancing data discovery. Additionally, a new Data Agent Kit extension for IDEs allows direct interaction with BigQuery resources, including browsing datasets and running queries. Both features are currently in preview, offering early access to these capabilities for users.
