BigQuery Pipelines Gain Automated Metadata Enrichment
BigQuery pipelines now include automated metadata enrichment, allowing users to define semantic metadata directly within SQLX configurations for synchronization with Knowledge Catalog. This enhancement also features a Data Engineering Agent that proactively generates metadata based on user intent or context. The capability aims to streamline data governance and discovery for BigQuery users. This feature is currently available in Preview.
