Claude API Cache Diagnostics Exits Beta
Anthropic has moved its Cache diagnostics feature for the Claude API out of beta, signifying enhanced stability and wider accessibility. This change allows developers to utilize cache diagnostics without needing a specific beta header, simplifying integration. To opt in, developers include a `diagnostics` object on Messages requests, and all `POST /v1/messages` responses will now consistently feature a `diagnostics` field, which is `null` if not explicitly requested.

- Claude API Cache Diagnostics No Longer Requires Beta Header
The cache diagnostics feature for the Claude API has exited beta and no longer requires the `cache-diagnosis-2026-04-07` beta header for use. Developers can enable diagnostics by including a `diagnostics` object on Messages requests, and responses from `POST /v1/messages` will now always contain the `diagnostics` field, appearing as `null` when not explicitly requested.
