Cloud Monitoring: Chart Time-Range Override Now Generally Available
Google Cloud Monitoring now allows individual charts on a dashboard to override the dashboard's global time-range setting. This enhancement enables users to simultaneously view long-term trends or low-sampling-rate metric data alongside charts displaying only recent information. The capability improves dashboard flexibility for deep analysis and comparative views. This new feature is now generally available for all Cloud Monitoring users.

A chart on a dashboard can override the dashboard's time-range setting. This feature lets you view trends over a long period or metric data with low sampling rates alongside charts that show only recent data, and is Generally Available (GA) .
