Cloud Trace Ends Support for Trace Sink Creation and Editing
Google Cloud Trace will no longer allow users to create or edit trace sinks starting August 31, 2026. This change follows the deprecation of trace sinks on February 18, 2026. Users currently relying on trace sinks for exporting trace data will need to transition to alternative methods for analysis. Google recommends using Observability Analytics or querying a linked BigQuery dataset for trace data analysis.

- Cloud Trace
