Databricks Adds Cross-Workspace Access Control for Serverless

networkingdatabrickspreviewarchitect
feature

Databricks now allows account administrators to control network traffic between serverless workspaces. This beta feature enables granular security policies, specifying which source workspaces can send traffic (egress) and which destination workspaces can receive it (ingress). Traffic flow is enforced only when both source egress and destination ingress rules permit the connection. This provides enhanced network segmentation and security for multi-workspace serverless deployments.

Features (1)
  • Control serverless network traffic between workspaces

Account administrators can now define specific ingress and egress rules to control serverless network traffic between Databricks workspaces. Traffic is only permitted when both the source workspace's egress rules and the destination workspace's ingress rules explicitly allow the connection.
