Databricks has announced the general availability of sharing managed Iceberg tables, enhancing data interoperability. This capability supports both Databricks-to-Databricks and open sharing scenarios. Furthermore, providers can now share managed Iceberg tables with external Iceberg clients. This development simplifies data asset sharing and broadens access to Iceberg-formatted data.
