Databricks Introduces Configurable Data Retention for System Tables (Beta)

Account administrators on Databricks can now set a configurable retention period for supported system tables. This new capability, currently in Beta, allows for data to be retained anywhere from 30 to 3,650 days. It provides enhanced control over data lifecycle management, which can assist with compliance and data governance requirements.
