Databricks Lakebase Expands PCI-DSS and HITRUST Compliance to All AWS Regions
Databricks Lakebase now offers PCI-DSS and HITRUST compliance across all AWS regions where it is available. This expansion allows organizations handling sensitive data, such as financial or healthcare information, to leverage Lakebase in more geographic locations. Previously, this crucial compliance support was restricted to the us-east-1 region. Customers must enable the compliance security profile within their workspaces to utilize this capability.

Databricks Lakebase has extended PCI-DSS and HITRUST compliance support to all AWS regions where it operates. This expanded availability, which requires enabling the compliance security profile, removes the previous restriction to the us-east-1 region.
