Databricks Unity Gateway Consumer Access for Model Services Nears General Availability
Databricks announced that consumer access to Unity Gateway model and model provider services will soon become generally available. This transition means consumer users will no longer need to enable a public preview to query these services, potentially increasing model traffic. Account administrators are advised to configure budgets, rate limits, or disable direct model access for consumer users before the GA rollout to manage consumption effectively.
