GCP Compute Engine MIGs support VM repair in alternate zones

Regional Managed Instance Groups (MIGs) in Google Compute Engine now support configuring VMs for repair in an alternate zone. This feature enhances application resiliency and resource availability by providing a fallback for VM repairs. It is now generally available and documented for users needing improved fault tolerance.

    Generally available : You can configure a regional managed instance group (MIG) to allow a VM repair in an alternate zone when the MIG can't repair the VM in its original zone.
