GCP Compute Engine U4 Ultra Low Latency Machine Family Now GA
Google Cloud has announced the general availability of its U4 Ultra Low Latency (ULL) network-optimized machine family for ULL Solution customers. Designed specifically for financial exchange ecosystems, this family provides industry-specific networking capabilities with ultra-low latency unicast and multicast communication. It includes U4P and U4C bare metal series, powered by 5th gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors for core trading and latency-sensitive strategies, respectively. The U4S virtual machine series, with 6th gen Intel Xeon, offers flexibility for adjacent workloads requiring physical proximity.
