GCP IAM Enhances Agent Identity Management with Custom Constraints and VPC Controls

securitygcpgaarchitect
feature

Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) now offers enhanced capabilities for Agent Identity resources. Users can leverage custom constraints with Organization Policy to gain more granular control over specific fields, such as `agentidentity.googleapis.com/AuthProvider`. Additionally, Agent Identity features general availability for VPC Service Controls integration, allowing the Agent Identity and Agent Identity Credentials APIs to be secured within service perimeters. These updates provide greater flexibility and security for managing automated service identities within GCP environments.
