Google releases Gemini 3.7 Flash GA and new Agent Runtime telemetry
Google has announced the general availability of Gemini 3.7 Flash, marking its first model to offer agentic video processing enabled by default for production use. This release expands the platform's multimedia AI capabilities for developers and architects. Concurrently, agents deployed with Agent Development Kit (ADK) 2.6.0 or newer can now emit generative AI application metrics to Cloud Monitoring. This enhancement improves observability for AI agents by providing OpenTelemetry-compliant metrics alongside existing traces and logs.
