Gemini Enterprise Now Available in Japan and UK Regions
Gemini Enterprise has expanded its availability to the Japan (asia-northeast1) and United Kingdom (europe-west2) regions, offering at-rest data residency and machine learning processing within these locations. This update also includes support for the Gemini 3.5 Flash model in these new regions. The feature is currently in General Availability (GA) with an allowlist, requiring users to contact their Google account team for access.

Gemini Enterprise: Support for Japan and UK regions (GA with allowlist) You can use the Gemini Enterprise app in the Japan ( asia-northeast1 ) and United Kingdom ( europe-west2 ) regions with at-rest data residency (DRZ) and machine learning processing (MLP) in region. You can also use the latest Gemini 3.5 Flash model in these regions with in-region at-rest DRZ and MLP. These locations are available in GA with allowlist. To get access to these locations for use with Gemini Enterprise or NotebookLM Enterprise, contact your Google account team. Certain limitations apply when using these regions
