- Support for GitHub organization and enterprise agents
Users can now leverage custom agents defined at the GitHub organization and enterprise level directly within JetBrains IDEs. Administrators can publish curated agents for organization-wide availability, promoting standardized workflows.
- Queue and steer messages in Copilot CLI
Users can now send follow-up messages while a Copilot CLI request is still running. Options include adding messages to a queue, steering the current request with a new message, or stopping the current turn to send a new message immediately.
- Claude agent provider available in public preview
Claude as an agent provider is now in public preview for GitHub Copilot in JetBrains IDEs, allowing users to select it from the agent picker. Integration requires installing the Claude Code CLI and configuring its path in the Copilot settings.

- Agent debug logs summary view and UX improvements
The Agent Debug panel now includes a consolidated logs summary view for easier review of agent activity. Additionally, user experience has been refined with improvements to chat input layout, inline chat resets, code block rendering, and next edit suggestions.
- Model picker enhancements and AI credits indicator
The model picker has been improved with slash command support, larger context window selection, and a recently used models section. A per-turn AI credits indicator is now displayed for local, CLI, and Claude agent sessions.
- Cloud agent now generally available
The Cloud agent functionality, previously under an editor preview feature flag, is now generally available for use within JetBrains IDEs.
