GitHub Copilot now offers budget increase requests
GitHub Copilot introduces a new workflow enabling users to request additional AI credits when they reach their budget limit, preventing interruption to Copilot features. Organization owners, enterprise owners, and billing managers can now approve, adjust, or deny these requests directly within their settings. Requests are automatically routed to the correct account for approval, with immediate access restoration upon approval. This functionality is generally available for GitHub Copilot Business and Enterprise plans under usage-based billing.
