Google Distributed Cloud for Bare Metal v1.34.900-gke.135 Released with Security Fixes

Google has released version 1.34.900-gke.135 for Google Distributed Cloud (software only) for bare metal. This update addresses several security vulnerabilities, including CVEs in etcd, and fixes issues with Ingress resource status and cluster deletion. The new version runs on Kubernetes v1.34.7-gke.200 and will become available via GKE On-Prem API clients within 7 to 14 days. Users are advised to review the update for improved stability and security, and third-party storage users should check qualified partner listings.

Fixed an issue where the status for Ingress resources was not updated when using bundled Ingress. Fixed an issue where user clusters repeatedly alternated between reconciling and running states if the management cluster had a different pod density configuration than the user cluster. Updated etcd to v3.5.33-0-gke.3 to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2026-46595 and CVE-2026-39821. Google Distributed Cloud for bare metal 1.34.900-gke.135 runs on Kubernetes v1.34.7-gke.200. After a release, it takes approximately 7 to 14 days for the version to become available for installations or upgrades with the GKE On-Prem API clients: the Google Cloud console, the gcloud CLI, and Terraform.
