announcement

Google launched a new hands-on workshop experience called Workbench at DevFest NYC, designed to teach engineers core ideas and architectural models for building self-evolving multi-agent systems. Unlike traditional workshops, Workbench emphasizes grappling with mental models behind graph engineering, self-evolving architectures, and automated self-patching harnesses. Attendees get hands-on with Google's agentic stack, including ADK, Veo 3.1, Memory Bank, and RAG Engine on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and learn to integrate BigQuery data into autonomous data engineering pipelines. This interactive experience is now touring to five additional North American cities this fall.

  • Introducing the Workbench Workshop Experience

Google has launched Workbench, a new workshop format at DevFest focusing on core ideas and architectural models for building agent systems. It aims to teach mental models behind graph engineering, self-evolving architectures, and automated self-patching harnesses, rather than just syntax.

  • Hands-on with Google's Agentic Stack and BigQuery

Attendees explored Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK), Veo 3.1, Memory Bank on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and RAG Engine. Labs also involved integrating BigQuery data into autonomous data engineering pipelines and reasoning about deterministic bidding logic for self-patching harnesses.

  • DevFest Community Workshop Tour Dates

The DevFest Community Workshop Experience will continue its tour to five more North American cities this fall, including Sunnyvale (Sep 30), Washington D.C. (Oct 6), Atlanta (Oct 30), Seattle (Nov 4), and Boston (Nov 10).
