Google SecOps SOAR adds calculated fields for dynamic data derivation
Google Security Operations Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) introduces calculated fields, allowing users to dynamically derive new data points within cases and alerts using logical formulas. This enhancement, now in Preview, enables real-time computation based on existing fields, aiding in richer case analysis. The feature is rolling out with release 6.3.86, which also includes general bug fixes.

Create and manage calculated fields The Calculated Fields feature is now available in Preview. With Calculated Fields, you can dynamically derive new data points within Google Security Operations cases and alerts. By defining logical formulas, you can compute values based on existing system or custom fields. The calculated value is automatically evaluated and stored in a user-selected, pre-existing custom field (labeled Target Field ) in real time. For more information, see Create and manage calculated fields .
