Lakeflow Jobs SQL Alert Task Now Available for Compliance Profiles
Databricks has made the SQL alert task in Lakeflow Jobs available by default for workspaces with a compliance security profile. This task now supports all Databricks compliance security standards, enabling the evaluation of SQL alerts directly within Lakeflow Jobs. Its output provides evaluation state, allowing subsequent tasks to branch conditionally. This enhancement benefits users integrating security and compliance checks into their automated data workflows.

- SQL Alert Task Enhanced for Compliance Security Profiles
The SQL alert task in Lakeflow Jobs now supports all Databricks compliance security profile standards and is available by default for applicable workspaces. This enables users to evaluate Databricks SQL alerts within Lakeflow Jobs and use the task's output value for conditional branching in downstream tasks.
