Looker: Spectacles Standalone Service Will Be Discontinued
Looker announces the deprecation of its standalone Spectacles service, with full discontinuation scheduled for November 30, 2026. The features of Spectacles are being integrated and evolved into Looker's Continuous Integration offering. Existing Spectacles customers will receive direct email communication with specific details regarding this transition. This move aims to consolidate and enhance CI capabilities directly within the Looker platform.

Looker's Continuous Integration is based on the legacy standalone Spectacles service. Looker will continue to integrate and evolve the Spectacles features into Looker's Continuous Integration, and the legacy standalone Spectacles service itself will be discontinued starting November 30, 2026.
