Google Cloud's Memorystore for Redis Cluster now supports basic token-based authentication for securing cluster access. This new capability allows users to manage authentication directly through the Google Cloud console, enhancing security controls for sensitive data environments. The feature provides a straightforward method to protect Redis clusters. This functionality is currently available in Preview.
