Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments Now Generally Available
AWS has announced the general availability of AgentCore payments, a new capability within Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. This feature enables AI agents to autonomously discover, access, and pay for paid APIs, MCPs, and content. It provides enterprises with security, guardrails, and observability for deploying transacting agents at scale. The service integrates with Coinbase and Stripe Privy wallets, offers payment orchestration, and supports protocols like Machine Payment Protocol (MPP) and x402's "upto" scheme for dynamic pricing.
