Amazon Connect Custom Metrics now offers tag-based access control, allowing organizations to define granular permissions for viewing, creating, and modifying custom metrics. This feature addresses challenges in multi-team environments by preventing unintended changes and enabling broader adoption without centralizing permissions. Users and roles can be granted full, view-only, or no access based on metric tags, with search results also respecting these permissions. Amazon Connect Custom Metrics now supports tag-based access control, enabling administrators to govern user and role permissions for viewing, creating, or modifying individual custom metrics. This functionality prevents unauthorized changes in shared metric libraries and allows teams to manage their own metrics while having controlled access to others. Access rules, including those for search visibility, are enforced based on the assigned tags.
