Amazon EC2 C8gd, M8gd, and R8gd Instances Now Available in Additional Regions

Amazon EC2 C8gd, M8gd, and R8gd instances, featuring AWS Graviton4 processors and up to 11.4 TB of local NVMe storage, are now available in additional AWS regions including Asia Pacific (Singapore), Mexico (Central), Asia Pacific (Melbourne), and Europe (Zurich). These instances offer significant performance gains over Graviton3 for I/O-intensive database and real-time analytics workloads. Additionally, customers can now adjust network and Amazon EBS bandwidth on these instances by 25% using a new weighting configuration, providing enhanced resource optimization. This expansion and new capability benefit engineers and architects seeking high-speed, low-latency local storage for diverse compute-intensive, balanced, and memory-intensive applications.
