AWS Expands Europe (London) Region with a Fourth Availability Zone
AWS has added a fourth Availability Zone (eu-west-2d) to its Europe (London) Region, increasing infrastructure capacity to meet growing cloud compute demand. This expansion provides next-generation AI and ML capabilities, including Amazon EC2, Trn3, and P6 accelerated instances. Customers in eu-west-2 can now distribute applications across four AZs, enhancing fault tolerance and supporting highly available architectures. The new zone is accessible through existing AWS tooling with standard regional pricing.
